Elias Betz studied Musicology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany, and Elemental Music and Dance Education at the Orff Institute, Universität „Mozarteum“ Salzburg, Austria.
1987-2010 Teacher at the Musik- und Singschule Heidelberg (Elementare Musikpädagogik, Percussion)
1990-2010 academic collaborator at the Musikhochschule Mannheim, further collaborations and projects with other music universities
Extensive activity as a teacher educator both in Germany and abroad Artistic projects with Gongs and Percussion, both as a soloist and in duo
Artistic collaboration with diverse artists and ensembles (vocal ensembles and choirs, visual artists, poets, storytellers, etc.)
